Orlando Police detectives continued their investigation Sunday morning into the shooting that took one man’s life on Conley Street in Parramore.
- One victim still in critical condition at ORMC
- Bullet holes, damage evident Sunday morning
Detectives said a group of people were in front of an apartment late Saturday when a car drove by and people inside started to fire several handguns from the car.
Police said 24-year-old Gino Nicholas died in the shooting. Another person is still at Orlando Regional Medical Center and is in critical condition.
Four other people suffered from non-life threatening wounds.
On Sunday, several bullet holes were visible in cars outside of the apartment complex. You could also see holes on the outside of apartment buildings.
19-year-old Sergio Rivera said he found a shell casing just inches from his mother’s foot. One of the bullets had traveled through his apartment door and landed in his living room.
“So I went downstairs to see if my mom was okay and then we checked outside and people started yelling and screaming. I saw two guys on the floor,” said Rivera.
“This is the first shooting that we heard about over here,” said Tanya Dancer, who lives nearby. “We thought it was nice, I was even thinking about moving over here, but after that shooting that has changed my mind.”
